Fourth and Fifth Grade
Our oldest children will continue the process of maturing as disciples who worship, walk  and work. These older children will continue to worship with their families each week during the music portion but twice a month will remain for the duration of the service. They will be given special Pastor P.A.L.S. (Participating And Learning in Service) notes which will help guide them through the sermon, teach them how to take notes, apply the central theme to their lives and summarize all they have learned in their own words.

These Pastor P.A.L.S. studies will be collected at the end of the service and the children will receive points for their work. Point values will be given for attending, filling out the sermon outline provided, bringing friends and bringing their bibles. As these students receive points, different activities are planned for fun and fellowship with the pastor so they can develop a relationship with him and other church leaders in an atmosphere of fun and affirmation. This may include activities such as a pizza party or bowling.

On those Sundays that the 4th-5th grade students do not remain in the service, they will dismiss after the music and go to a class for an age appropriate message and time of discussion. They will still receive points for participation toward the Pastor P.A.L.S. program. It is the desire through this two-fold approach that the children are both learning how to participate in worship while also having time to fellowship and worship, walk and work as young disciples.

Although the children will leave after the music portion of the service, you may check them in and receive your identity/security tag prior to service.
