Dr. Chris Keathly has pastored in LA, FL and Texas. Chris felt like he was “at home” when we was introduced to Harvest Bible Chapel with its expository preaching, contemporary worship and small groups with transparency and accountability.
Chris and his wife Lisa have three daughters and both Chris and Lisa graduated from Baylor University. Chris received his Bachelor of Science in Education and then attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he received his Master of Divinity, and was the president of the theology fellowship from 1994-1995. He concluded his formal education as he received his doctorate in Expository Preaching from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. His project was regarding how expository preaching and discipleship impacted men in their leadership in the home and church.
Chris has a heart for Texas and Dallas and for impacting the world through discipleship. While he and Lisa both committed to missions at a young age, he feels like God has called his family to home missions by starting a church that reaches the lost and disciples the believers who in turn will impact international missions by making and supporting disciples which will go into the entire world.
